Hello,
I am a consultant in Ghana and I have an idea about a challenging
project which would help the northern part of Ghana and the countries
to the north of Ghana both socially and economically.

The problem is that I need expert advise on the feasibility of such a
project.

Hello Abdlah,

I am sure we can help you with some advice, but we would require some more details about the project. If you do not want to disclose your project ideas here, feel free to send us an email.

Thanks for your offer to help me with this project. You can get some basic over view of the Lake at: http://www.ilec.or.jp/database/afr/afr-16.html.

Then help me figure out what information I must give you for us to proceed. Thanks

Abdlah,

This seems to be is a very interesting lake, unfortunately only disclosing the deliverable, "construction of an inland port at the lake head at Buipe".

If your aim is to get advice on how to deliver this project, whatever organization you are belonging to, you certainly must start with the following processes:
- Develop a Project Charter to document the business needs of the new project, service or other result that is intended to satisfy those requirements.
- From those requirements, you can start developing the project scope, defining the boundaries of the project, the project and deliverable requirements.
- Planning phase: Gather information to identify, define and mature the project scope, project cost, risk and schedule the project activities. As new information is gathered, feedback loops may be required for further analysis. You should involve all appropriate stakeholders, depending upon their influence on the project and its outcomes (your organization, governmental bodies, local authorities, etc.).

You are then able to develop your project management plan. This shall be your primary source of information for how the project will be planned, executed, monitored and controlled, and closed.

As you can see, it is hard work to start from an idea. You will have to gather all relevant information above to see if this project is feasible. Your organization, like most of them, can probably approve a project only after a feasibility study has been conducted.

In short, without relevant information, the project cannot be initiated.

Regards,

So the link - http://www.ilec.or.jp/database/afr/afr-16.html - that I supplied was to help readers get an idea of about the lake and to advice on technical feasibility. Thanks in advcance
